The JFL210 compact line array module features a range of EAW's most innovative line array technologies within a mobile, light weight package that's an ideal solution for a multitude of small- and medium-sized applications, including portable and installed A/V as well as musician/DJ.

Incorporating constant curvature line array design principles, JFL210 modules form easily configured arrays with very predictable output and coherence and coverage that is both horizontally symmetric and consistent from short to long throws. And despite the compact size, modules and arrays both deliver exceptionally high output capability and predictable pattern control.

The JFL210 can be flown or stacked in a variety of ways. The enclosure size, shape, weight, and rigging are optimized for ease of transport and handling. Arrays may be easily flown or ground stacked, and up to two enclosures may be mounted on a tripod loudspeaker stand or on a pole above the JFL118 subwoofer.

Each two-way, full-range JFL210 module utilizes neodymium drivers that provide optimum performance and tireless durability while also further reducing weight. Two 10" (2.5" voice coil) woofers deliver tight, punchy low-frequency performance, while the 3" (1.4" exit) compression driver is closely matched with a horn that provides precise directivity. These high end components contribute to a maximum peak output of more than 130dB SPL, allowing JFL210 arrays to comfortably fill vast spaces.

Performance can be optimized even more precisely with an EAW UX8800 digital processor (4 inputs by 8 outputs) that functions as an excellent overall system manager, processor and controller, while its Gunness Focusing alignment and driver processing algorithms dramatically enhance JFL210 line array performance.

Dual Neutrik Speakon STX Series jacks are provided on each JFL210. The STX Series' all-metal housings are extremely rugged, and provide weather protection to IP54 when mated with a complimentary STX Series cable connector. The input panel also houses recessed powering mode and HF Shading switched. Both are shrouded with a rubber boot for weather protection.

Yes, it's extremely small and light and easy to handle, but make no mistake - the JFL210 packs an unmatched performance punch in comparison to any other loudspeaker system in its class.

The JFL210 offers a wide variety of configuration options allowing for maximum flexibility of usage. Every aspect of the enclosure design has been optimized for ease of transport and handling. Each module measures just 12.3" high by 24.8" wide by 15.6" deep and weighs only slightly more than 50 lbs. Single or multiple enclosures can be pole-mounted, and arrays can also be easily flown, ground stacked, or permanently installed.

The JFL210 loudspeaker has a 110 degree horizontal and 15 degree vertical nominal beamwidth. Arrays up to six units high may be easily constructed, which allows a user to address vertical coverage requirements ranging from 15 to 90 degrees.
A user may select single- or bi-amp powering mode on the rear panel.  An additional HF Shading switch is active in single-amp mode.  It optimizes high frequency response for single-box or multi-box arrays, or inserts a correction filter for the high frequency air loss encountered in long throw applications. When the JFL210 is operated in bi-amp power mode the HF Shading filters are applied in DSP.

The JFL210’s size, shape and weight are optimized for transport and set-up by one person. Side handles are integrated with the rigging system and are aligned with the enclosure’s center or gravity for superior balance and stability.  Up to two JFL210s may be mounted on a loudspeaker stand with a 35 mm / 1.38 in diameter pole.  Dual –angle, integral pole mount holes allow the bottom enclosure to be aimed 0° or -15°.

The JFL210’s ultra-strong rigging system has a 10:1 design factor, which meets or exceeds all standards enforced throughout the world. The rigging is simple to use – enclosures may be easily joined together by one person using but one hand. For portable, flown applications the accessory FB121 Fly Bar allows a wide range of array tilt angles to be readily achieved.  The FB212 also doubles as a ground stack base for up to four JFL210s. Alternately, pair of threaded M10 rigging points are available on the enclosure’s top and bottom panels for cost-sensitive permanent install applications.

Overall construction matches the high standards long applied to EAW portable and touring products. Enclosures are protected by our tough, highly scratch-resistant RoadCoat finish and durable, foam-backed steel grilles protect the transducers while hiding them from view. The JFL210 is initially offered in black, but a white finish will be available very soon.
